Dikiriada 2013 in Sofia and Plovdiv

Mrs. Roussalia Kirova presented DiKiro’s works for expositions and events in Sofia and Plovdiv, as part of the traditional festivities devoted to the Maestro’s birthday May 20. He once named these festivities ‘Dikiriada’. The 2013 edition included:

- exhibition, part of the Sixth International Heritage Festival on May 17 – 23 2013 in the American Centre of Sofia’s City Library, under the auspices of the Peter Detev Bulgarian Heritage International Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and the National Film Centre, Bulgaria. A documentary devoted to DiKiro’s work and life was shown at the opening on May 19, 2013; and
- an exhibit of previously unshown works at the DiKiro Permanent Exposition in Plovdiv’s Old Town, opened on May 20, 2013.
