Heritage Film Prize Awarded to DiKiro World

DiKiro World [Светът ДиКиро] is the title of a documentary produced by BNT - Plovdiv, which won the first price in the Arts Category of the Intenrational Heritage Film Festival, The awards ceremony took place at the opening of DiKiro's memorial exhibiion in the America Centre of Sofia's City Library on May 19. The film's authors are Pepa Slavcheva, script, and Varta Marukian, director, and Nikolay Penchev, cameraman. The competition's jury consisted of cinema critic professor Alxander Yanakiev, film director Konstantina Gulyashki, and archaeologist professor Diana Guergova. Films from Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary,  Macedonia and the USA participated in the competition. The award was granted at an exhibition of the late Dimiter Kirov - Dikiro, in the presence of his wife and muse Ro.
