Art Meets Literature: DiKiro work to stay in Helicon Centre Plovdiv bookstore

18.04.2011

A Ballerina lithography by Dimiter Kirov will have a permanent exposition place in the Helicon Centre Plovdiv bookstore. The artwork will be presented by the late master’s wife Russalia Kirova at a music ceremony on April 20, 2011, Wednesday, from 6 pm. The music programme for the ceremony is chosen to commemorate Dimiter Kirov and his passion for French art. It will include: The Dolly Suite, Op. 56, acollection of pieces for piano four-hands by Gabriel Fauré, to be performed by Nadejda Kouzmanova and Tsveta Patcheva; two Preludes by J.S.Bach, performed by the piano virtuoso Tateos Sanjakian – a close friend to the Kirov family and a frequent performer in their home. “I am convinced that numerous visitors of the Helikon bookstore will find in-spiration and delight meeting DiKiro’s art while choosing literature masterpieces,” Kirova said. The event is also devoted to the International Day of Literature and Copyright.
