Once a week, whenever in Plovdiv, Dimiter Kirov had breakfast in the company of artists and other friends from the cultural elite of Plovdiv. The venue was known as "Malkia Novotel" - formally the Olympic Restaurant, on the northern coast of the river Maritza. A mosaic personally presented by DiKiro can be seen on one of the restaurant's garden walls since that time.
