DiKiro's art had a special relation with wine - possibly rooted in the ancient Thracian tradition of Phillipopolis. Brestovitsa Wine Bar in Plovdiv was among Dimiter Kirov's favourite winerys. Not accidentally, the venue was decorated with thematic DiKiro canvases by its owber Metody Portev, a great admirer of the late master's work.
